Anna Napawan, PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Anna Napawan is a licensed clinical psychologist. She completed her Bachelor of Sciences in Child Psychology at the University of Iowa. She continued her education at Palo Alto University, earning both her Masters in Science, and PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Napawan has worked and trained in a variety of settings including UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic, Children’s Hospital Oakland, and Kaiser Permanente. She is experienced in assessing for symptoms of executive functioning, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning differences (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), and anxiety disorders. She is also certified to treat emotional and anxious symptoms in:

  • Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

  • Unified Protocol (UP-CBT) for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Experiences

  • Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)

Dr. Napawan currently shares her time at Kaiser Permanente as a Clinical Supervisor at the Regional Associates Program (RAP) providing supervision for psychological associates throughout Northern California.

In addition to Dr. Napawan’s work she enjoys learning to watercolor and embroider. She cares for her three children, and is in the process of training her cavapoo named Poppy.
