Groups Forming for 2023!
Social skills group form on an as needed basis. As families reach out, a good fit of children will be determined. All it takes is two children to begin a group! All groups are closed, meaning once the small group is formed I will not take another child until the next round of sessions. Groups cap off at 4 children to enable me to provide the amount of attention needed in these groups.
Group sessions are semi-structured to foster social norms, and to build on your child’s social skills. Your child will be supported in collaborative play, with a social-emotional approach for them to begin to build on peer relationships.
A biweekly debrief will be provided to the parents that will include observations, areas of strengths, and ways to support your child’s growth.
Don’t know if your child has high functioning ASD, no worries, we can determine your child’s needs during the consultation.
